You know, Wolfgang99, it has occurred to me and others that this VMS folio might be a code wheel. About five years ago, I created a digital version that spins each wheel independently and also printed the page on high-quality card stock and cut out the circles and assembled them with a paperclip poked through a hole in the middle to hold the pages together while still allowing them to turn independently.
But, even though I did that, I try to stay open to other interpretations, as well. Maybe this page is a volvelle, not one for decoding, but maybe an astronomical volvelle.
It's possible that it's an encoding aid, but not in the manner you suggest. Rather than these being stencils for microscopic codes, to be assembled into VMS glyphs that look like letters, maybe the answer is simpler... perhaps it's a guide for positioning or combining some of the glyphs.
It's also possible it's an astrological volvelle (the kind used for prognostications). It might not have anything to do with decoding the manuscript.

I was wondering if you can make your digital version of You are not allowed to view links.

all coincidences? mah!
As I wrote before, I am not aware of other holes than the ones in the centres of some of the circles in the MS.
There may be, but I don't know about them. The picture of f57v, with small black dots, could show pinholes.
Again, I don't know.
What I do know is that the text of the MS has been written with ink, using a quill pen, in the standard manner.
There is no doubt about that.

Why Beinecke don't discredit this irritating Italian researcher: fucking Italian idiot, now you have enlargements, show us what is written in Voynich!
Because I have given the right solution! Ah ah ah
Wolfgang, your solution is worthless if you need others to use it for you. If you are certain about your system, you should be able to decipher the Voynich yourself.

as I said ad nauseam, 400 DPI Beinecke enlargements are not enough, I need at least 700/800 DPI, it is not so difficult
letter saw at microscope matches a voynich letter I found, please watch video for more details
