I am still in the process of going through the whole ms.
I think You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. (Herba Regina) provides an explanation for "3a".
The text says the plant "has yellowish flowers" ("et ha i fiori zaleti").
"za" looks very much like our "3a", which likely is an abbreviation for You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. (Venetian dialect version of the Italian "giallo" meaning "yellow").

Very nice manuscript Marco, Immediately when I saw this
I remembered this page 65r and the possible text, for you to consider, but perhaps that should be discussed in a new thread.
I'm sorry, as usual I'm going too fast.

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. otaim dam alam
Assumptions:
o removed in front of any label as obsolete
m =abbreviation for anything that is needed to complete the word. For example abbrm.
dam then is abbrev. for daiin, which is a key word for herba
taim.. dam.. alam.. -> item herba You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.

Looks like the correct explanation, there are several similar looking examples in Cappelli
